Please let me take this opportunity to introduce you to JA MAX MACHINE CO., INC. JA MAX MACHINE CO., INC. was formed in 1992, our facility is located in the central Iowa town of Roland. We are a specialty machining source able to meet large quantity production needs or to make that “one of a kind” component to your specifications. Our business is built on quality and customer service and we can be there in a timely manor to review your urgent needs. JA MAX currently has 18 employees running two shifts helping to keep our delivery times to a minimum.

In addition to production parts, we build a variety of items to customers specifications such as assembly tools, transfer pallets, machined plastic components, special studs/fasteners, holding fixtures, etc… Outside services that we utilize to provide a complete service include heat treating, plating, grinding, and painting. We also supply many customers with tooling and fixturing, which is another aspect of our business.

JA MAX is a “Hall of Fame” supplier (for quality and delivery) to Sauer-Danfoss in Ames, IA. for hydrostatic transmission production parts. We can machine your parts to the most demanding tolerances on our CNC machining centers or turn your tight tolerances on our bar fed CNC lathes, Citizen Swiss Automatics or our CNC 6-spindles. As with any business today quality is priority one, our quality system tracks each part from the time raw material enters the door thru each process to the time it is shipped to our customers including outside services.

JA MAX also uses Mastercam CAD/CAM-solids software for our CNC programming. Using this technology along with High Speed Machining processes we are able to machine hardened tool steels. One application would be the remachining or resharpening of upset, forging, and stamping dies. This process can be done at significant cost savings to the customer, and can be done maintaining tolerances specified without compromising the integrity of the die blocks. Files we are currently able to read are, IPT, ASCII, DXF, IGES, PARASLD, STL, VDA, SAT, ADV ACAD, NFL, CADL, and DWG.
